This tidbit appeared in the Edmonton Sun newspaper on Tuesday.
Jeff Truitt's name has surfaced as a possible AHL farm coach in, likely, Springfield next season.
While the Kelowna Rockets junior coach certainly has good credentials, by far the leading candidate is Geoff Ward.
Ward coached the Oilers' former AHL Road Runners team and is now coaching in Germany.
Many fans have questioned Truitt over the way he handled this years team.
Bottom line is he is a sought after coach and we should be lucky enough to have him behind the bench in Kelowna!
