Jeff Truitt represents Canada

Congratulations to Kelowna Rockets Head Coach Jeff Truitt, who was named as an assistant coach for Canada's entry at the upcoming Under 18 Hockey Championships in Tampere and Rauma, Finland from April 11-22nd.

The World Under-18 event brings together the best Under-18 aged players, many of whom will be top NHL picks at the June NHL Entry Draft.
Canada’s team will be comprised of best eligible Under-18 aged players that are not involved in the playoffs in the CHL or other leagues.
Canada's team is guided by Head Coach Trent Yawney.
Canada has participated at the World Under-18 Championship since 2002, winning gold at the event in 2003.
Truitt is no stranger to the Team Canada program after he was a video coach for Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships in 2003.
