Detroit Red Wings coming to Kelowna

The NHL's Detroit Red Wings are coming to Kelowna.

The 11 time Stanley Cup championships have scheduled two practices at Prospera Place as part of a Western Canada road trip this month.

The team's practice at Prospera Place on March 17th is open to the public.

Doors open at 10 am with the practice commencing at 11 am. Admission is a donation to the Kelowna Food Bank.

The Wings are using Kelowna as a resting point in mid March between games against the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks.
