Game Notes vs. Raiders

Tonight’s Preview: The Kelowna Rockets are playing the fifth game of six straight on an Eastern Conference road trip with a stop tonight in Prince Albert. The Rockets are 1-2-0-1 on the swing after a 4-3 shootout loss in Swift Current, a 4-1 loss in Moose Jaw, a 5-3 setback in Brandon and a 3-2 overtime win Wednesday night in Regina. Overall, the Rockets have been out-scored 15-10 in the first four games. The Rockets and Raiders are meeting for the one and only time this season. Last season the Raiders fell 3-2 in overtime to the Rockets at Prospera Place. Brett Bulmer scored at the 3:33 mark of the extra period. The Rockets last stop at the Art Hauser Centre came December 15/09 in a 3-0 shutout loss. Following tonight’s game the Rockets wrap up the pre-Christmas schedule tomorrow night in Saskatoon. The Rockets are venturing out this way for the first time since the 2009-2010 campaign. That year the Rockets went 3-3-0-0 with wins over Swift Current, Regina and Moose Jaw and losses to Brandon (8-4), Prince Albert (3-0) and Saskatoon (4-1). In the big picture the Rockets have points in ten of their last fifteen games (7-5-1-2). The Rockets are in the midst of playing 13 of 16 games on the road.
